Condition

Varnish is hazed and crackling with flaking at edges with some abrasions and chips to wood, mostly at the edges and corners. Some abrasions and chips to malachite. Minor lifting and buckling to brass inlay. Very light surface dirt and oxidation to ormolu mounts. Loss to malachite of one base as visible in catalogue illustration.
