Condition

Overall good condition; the central panel to the top with large chips and losses over lines of construction mainly to back left edge; large loss to edge of central panel to back right corner over the hinge; the left and right hinged panels with small chips and losses to lacquer over lines of construction; the interior in good condition with slight cracking to lacquer which is stable; the underside of the right panel with small chips to lacquer over lines of construction; the mirror with minor pitting in places and with some small restorations to lacquer around frame; the left side panel with some inpainting to the upper section with restorations to lacquer; chip to lacquer over lines of construction just beneath the top; legs with old chips and losses to lacquer with subsequent inpainting in place; right side panel with some inpainting and restorations along lines of construction with some small chips to lacquer over lines of construction at join of side panel with front right leg; the back with areas of restoration to lacquer to center panel at join with top; overall some small nicks and wear to lacquer; decoration is stable
