The molded rectangular top with a burr yew panel within crossbanded partridgewood borders, the frieze with a drawer at the front and a matching false drawer at the back, raised on square chamfered legs joined by a turned X-form stretcher.

Condition

Overall fair restored condition; the top with some minor patches to veneer; front left quadrant of top with some minor inpainting and infilling to yewwood veneers; the drawer lacking cockbeading to right side; the underside of the top with a later batten to help stabilize an age crack; x-form stretcher possibly later; overall with minor nicks, scratches and wear; now with a glossy surface
