Description

  • Ceramics
with gently rounded sides slightly curved in at the rim, applied overall with a lavender-blue glaze suffused with bubbles, thinning to mushroom on the rim and falling in a slightly irregular line above the unglazed foot

Sotheby Parke Bernet, Hong Kong, 12th-13th May 1976, lot 31.

Condition

There is a forked hairline crack approx. 1 in. (2.5 cm) long on the rim . There is a glaze gap and an iron spot on the rim. There are some minute chips to the foot ring and some wear to the well.
