each gently curved, of square section, the broad sides pierced with fifty holes for threading of the hammock, the narrow sides each carved in shallow relief with three florets flanked by scrolling foliage, all linked with a raised bowstring band, between truncated florets and scrolling foliage at the ends, metal display stand (3)

Private California Collection since the mid-1960's.

Condition

Both tusks have hairline cracks, along with chips and nicks throughout. The holes have been stained by the hammock ropes.
