each painted to the interior en grisaille with a central medallion enclosing a mountainous landscape encircled by a gilt floral scroll, the everted rim brightly painted with three leaf-shaped floral cartouches reserved on diaper grounds and trellis borders

Collection of Sir Alfred Beit (1903-1994).
Condition
One broken into approximately 8 pieces and heavily restored with extensive over-spraying to the reverse (with areas of loss measuring approximately 80 by 34mm and 60 by 25mm to the rim).
The other in perfect condition.
