of cylindrical form, carved in relief to the exterior with two scholars seated at a table watching a dance performed by two ladies with an attendant pouring wine beside, all set in a garden landscape with pine and rocks, wood base and rim

Condition

The brushpot is intricately carved and in excellent condition. There is a small nick (0.2cm) to the top of the rim. The base has two small nicks (largest 0.5x0.1cm) and two pinholes.
