- cloisonne enamel
the compressed globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall cylindrical neck set with a pair of tubular handles, brightly enamelled around the body with a composite floral scroll between lotus lappet and stiff leaf bands, all reserved on a dark blue ground
Condition
An area of impact to globular body, measuring approximately 15mm by 12mm with minor associated losses to enamels. Further flaking and more minor losses to enamels elsewhere along widest part of the body. Characteristic pitting and minor enamel flakes elsewhere. Wear to gilt-bronze rims.
