Description

each brightly painted to the interior with a pair of cockerels amongst a garden with flowering peonies and pierced rocks, all encircled by lobed floral cartouches reserved on a diaper ground and a trellis border
Condition
One dish has a Y-form crack to the centre of the exterior base, 6cm long (3cm branch). The other dish has a 2.7cm crack to the rim with a small associated chip. There is one chip to the upper side of the rim and two to the underside and some fritting to the rim. There is minor areas of enamel loss to the flower stems, leaves and the border at the rim.
