each with a baluster body rising from a stepped foot to a waisted neck gently flaring at the rim, brightly painted with figures in a riverside landscape with elaborate tiered pavilions, all between moulded lotus lappets variously enclosing floral sprays and landscape scenes, the neck with panelled decoration with flowers and insects and the foot with a diaper band, decorated with lingzhi to the base, the domed cover similarly decorated

Formerly in Säfstaholm Castle, Vingäker, Sweden.
Condition
There is a 25.5cm U-shaped crack to the lower section of one vase and three areas of semi-circular restoration to the foot of the other (7.5cm by 1.5cm, 11cm by 2cm and 7.5cm by 2cm). There is also restoration to the rims of both covers. There is also an area of misfiring to the foot of the same vase and some burst bubbles to the glaze in this area. There is an 8cm firing crack to the interior of one cover. There is some lights scratches and iron spots to the glaze to the sides of each.
