Description
- jade, ivory, metal
carved in low relief to one face with two boys flying a kite, the reverse with two boys at play with lanterns under a pine tree in a fenced garden, the opaque stone of an even white tone, the domed white jade stopper decorated with a floral medallion
Condition
The jade snuff bottle is in very good condition with the exception of very minor nibbling along the extremities and the inner rim. There are some short natural nicks on the side carved with two boys flying a kite near to the right. The cover may be later matched, and is detached from the ivory spoon.
