the convex side deftly carved through the lighter skin in the liuqing technique with eight peaches borne on a leafy tree branch, inscribed to the left with a poetic inscription reading Sanqian nian jieshi zhi tao (Fruiting peaches of three thousand years) followed by a seal reading Wu

Condition

This rest is in good condition, but does have a small nick to the top left corner and some surface scratches to the peach to the centre of the rest.
