carved and hollowed in the form of a phoenix with its crowned head curved backwards, its clawed feet tucked underneath its body, the wings and tail curled backwards in motion of flight, detailed with incised C-scrolls, the stone of an even pale celadon tone mottled with milky-white inclusions
Condition
In good general condition. The stone of a much more greenish tone than as seen in the catalogue image. A very small 1mm chip to the tail, and possible polished chip to tail feather. Some faint russet veining to the stone.
