the baluster body rising from a short spreading foot to a  tall tapering neck and everted rim, carved in high relief around the body with a large scaly ferocious dragon amidst swirling clouds and set at the shoulder with a pair of mythical beast handles, the tapering cover linked by a long chain to one of the vase handles, the stone of pale celadon tone, wood stand

Condition

This vase is in good condition, but there is some scratches and nicks to the exterior rim of the vase and interior rim of the cover. There is a chip to the nose of the dragon to the cover. The vase is glued to the wood base. The vase is a little greener than it is depicted in the catalogue.
