Description

each with a five-lobed compressed globular body supported on a spreading foot, the domed cover decorated with a central five-lobed medallion enclosing a gnarled prunus branch, all surrounded by stylised lotus scrolls and a ruyi band, the exterior of the box similarly decorated, the foot encircled by detached floral sprigs

Condition

These boxes are in good condition, except there is some stress cracks to one side of the exerior of one box and a shallow chip to the enamel of the other. There are also some minor chips to the covers and there is burst bubbles to the enamel throughout. Thre is flaking and cracking to the enamel of the interior of each.
