the cup with rounded sides resting on a short foot, supported on a cupstand with a hollow bowl with rounded sides collared with a quatrefoil dish with slightly curved sides, all raised on a hollow foot, covered overall in a lavender-blue glaze thinning to a mushroom tone at the rims, Japanese wood box

Condition

Both the cup and stand are in good condition with theexception of a 2cm., long hairline firing line to the underside of the stand, glaze pulls to the underside of the stand and light glaze crazing to both.
