Description

  • silver inlaid bronze
the cylindrical body supported on a short foot, flanked by a pair of ruyi scroll handles, inlaid with silver wires to the exterior with stylised taotie masks, the base impressed with a rectangular seal reading Jixin Zhai yan qingwan (Pure trinket for the Studio of Sustenance of the Mind)

Condition

The censer is in very good condition with the exception of minute nicks to the edge of the rim.
