Description

  • gilt bronze
seated in dhyanasana, the hands clasped in abhisekamudra before the chest, wearing a shawl and dhoti opening at the chest to reveal a wan symbol, the borders incised at the hems with lotus, the face with a benevolent expression surmounted by an elaborate five-point diadem enclosing an Amitabha Buddha

Condition

The bronze is in very good condition with the exception of slight loss to the tip of one point of the crown and minor rubbing to the gilt decoration. The base is open.
