Description

  • gilt bronze
cast seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the hands raised in vitarkamudra to the chest with uptala lotuses rising along the elbows, dressed in lama robes with panelled decoration, the face with a benign expression flanked by long ears

Condition

The bronze is in fair condition with the exception of loss to the floral stems and tips of the flower heads, a slight depression and casting flaws to the lower band of lotus petals and bottom edge of the base to the rear, a dent to the left bottom edge of the base, slight denting to the top of the head and minor rubbing to the gilt decoration. The base is open.
