of cylindrical form, carved in low relief with archaistic kui dragon scrolls framing two panels bearing poetic inscriptions adapted from Yuan Mei’s Suiyuan Shihua, all below a band of confronted C-scrolls, the rim encircled with a ruyi band and the foot with lappets, incised with a Qianlong four-character seal mark to the base, the stone of a rich olive-green tone mottled with black inclusions

The vessel is in very good condition with the exception of two tiny nicks to the edge of the foot.
