the ovoid body brightly painted with blooming detached floral sprays between ruyi-shaped lappet bands, encircled at the foot with a floral scroll and lappet band, the domed cover similarly decorated with a central medallion with flowering peonies surrounded by a stylised ruyi band; together with a smaller blue and white ovoid jar and cover, and a blue and white ‘lotus’ box and cover

Condition

The cover stuck to the vase and the porcelain underneath not inspected. In good general condition. Some mis-firing to patches, where the glaze appears yellow. Minor surface wear. 'Kater' collection label to base.
