each with a plain rectangular top supported on four legs, joined by arched stretchers fitted with oval braces

Provenance

Sotheby’s London, 1st November 1985, lot 76.

Condition

One table has a 25cm by 4cm repair to the top to one side and a 71cm by 1.3cm to the other. The central plank to the top has shrunk, leaving a 5mm gap along its entire length. There is a 3.5cm by 5cm area of repair to one leg. The other table has 50cm minor crack/split to the top surface and the central plank has shrunk, leaving a 5mm gap running its entire length. Two of the oval motifs to the apron are split.
