each with a lobed globular body surmounted by a tall neck flaring to a six-petalled foliate mouth, set with a curved spout moulded with branch-like extensions, the body painted with floral panels below a keyfret band, the neck with birds and flowers

Condition

There are minor restoration to the pomegranate tips of both kendi. Both kendi have minor fritting along the rims and other minor firing imperfections such as iron spots and burst glaze bubbles. One kendi has the tip of the spout restored with visible overpaint (approx. 4cm), and a 0.5cm firing crack to the bottom. The other kendi has a small chip (0.2cm) to one of the branch-like extensions.
