- porcelain with gilt and lacquered frames
each of rectangular form, variously painted with figural scenes with officials, ladies and sages among landscapes and interiors, gilt and lacquered frames
Provenance
Collection of Mr and Mrs Frederick McCarthy.
Condition
The surface of each is generally stable. There are marks from firing and there are losses to raised areas of enamel (probably from them being stacked at some stage). The frames are in good order, although there are losses to some gilt decoration.
