the deep rounded sides divided into eight lobes, rising from a straight foot to a flared gilt rim, the exterior painted with foreigners riding or accompanied by mythical beasts and carrying various precious objects, the interior and base glazed turquoise, inscribed with an iron-red seal mark

Condition

This bowls is in good condition, but there is some rubbing to the gilding to the rim. There is a firing flaw to the exterior base and some iron spots and pitting to the glaze to the interior. There is also minor losses to the turquoise enamel below the rim to the interior.
