the flattened circular body rising from a short spreading foot to a garlic-shaped neck and mouth flanked by a pair of ruyi-shaped handles, moulded to both faces with a deer and lingzhi spray sheltered beneath a gnarled pine tree, the neck with a shou character medallion beneath a chevron border at the rim, encircled with a keyfret band at the foot, covered overall in a pale celadon glaze thinning at the rims

Condition

The moonflask is in very good condition with the exception of a 4mm., wide rim frit, minor glaze firing imperfections including glaze pulls and iron-spots, and light glaze scratches.
