Description

  • porcelain with bronze stand
the deep curved sides rising from three globular feet to an incurved rim, the exterior moulded and carved with two dragons writhing amongst clouds contesting a flaming pearl, covered overall in a pale sea-green glaze running short of the base revealing the buff body, French Baroque style bronze stand, cast with dolphins

Condition

The fishbowl is in good condition with the exception of a circa 17 x 12cm., area of overpainting encircling one foot, minor glaze firing imperfections including a glaze-pull on the rim and light glaze scratches.
