each with flaring sides rising from a short foot, glazed overall in a greyish liver-red tone, the white base inscribed with a six-character seal mark

Provenance

Purchased in France, 7th May 1986.

Condition

The one dish is in good condition with the exception of two glaze-pulls on the outer edge of the rim, some shallow flakes to the bottom of the footring and some light glaze scratches; the other dish has slight warp, a narrow 2cm., wide glaze-pull top the lower external edge of the body and some light glaze scratches.
