Description
- huanghuali wood
of rectangular form, the top of the cover carved in shallow relief with the beribboned bajixiang interspersed with leafy lotus blooms, all surrounding a rectangular panel bearing an inscription reading Yuzhi Bishu Shanzhuang Baiyun (Imperially made for the Summer Palace: One Hundred Rhyme), the sides and base undecorated

Condition
The box is in good condition with the exception of minor age cracks, including one measuring 6cm along the edge of the underside. There are minor nicks to the extremities and the rims.
