carved recumbent with its head turned behind to look at its young beside, the stone of an attractive greenish yellow tone suffused with russet-brown inclusions

A Danish Private Collection.

Condition

The jade is in excellent condition with the exception of a vein running from the forelegs to the rear haunches of the smaller ram. The stone is of a slightly more greenish yellow tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
