Sotheby's London, 17th December 1996, lot 246.
Condition
The painting is in good condition with the exception of a 4 x 2cm., stain to the upper part (by the butterfly) repeated in lighter form just below the top edge, some minor foxing to the lower painting and a light horizontal crease extending three quarters of the way across the lower section.
