Description

  • ZITAN
the rectangular panelled top with tapered sides resting on a simple beaded apron carved with archaistic scrolls, all supported on two rectangular legs neatly folding on hinges to fit inside the top and secured with metal hooks, each carved and pierced with further archaistic scrollwork, the richly patinated wood of dark reddish-brown colour with typical grain and characteristic gold flecks

Condition

There are a few light scratches to the top surface and a 3 cm. age crack from the edge filled in with wax. One of the metal hooks holding one folding leg is missing.
