- BAMBOO
of cylindrical form and refined simplicity, carved in the form of a three-nodes section of bamboo, the concave tiers divided by finely incised internodes further encircling the base and rim, the tightly grained wood of deep reddish-brown colour with typical gold flecks and a smooth patina, the pierced interior fit with a hardwood plug
Condition
There are three stabilised hairline crackles radiating around the central plug on the underside showing through on the interior. The plug is glued with traces of old glue on the interior.
