Description

delicately potted with deep rounded sides resting on a short straight foot, covered overall with a rich egg-yolk yellow glaze, save for a white recessed base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within double circles

Sotheby's Hong Kong, 29th October 1991, lot 61.

Condition

The overall condition is excellent except for a tiny glaze pull to the base, as well as a few original minor kiln grits to the interior and the unglazed footring. The white recessed base has slightly turned yellow in the firing.
