Description

each with shallow rounded sides rising to a gently flared rim, supported on a narrow splayed stem encircled by a raised fillet, finely decorated on the underside and on the stem with an asymmetric design of famille-rose flower roundels of different sizes and with different geometric patterns, some freely floating, some overlapping, all reserved on a lime-green sgraffiato ground finely incised with scrolling foliage, the interior applied with a pale turquoise glaze, the rim painted in gold enamel, the interior of the stem left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character horizontal reign mark

Condition

There is a 2.5 cm hairline crack to the rim of one. There are a few minor pin-holes, moderate wear to the gilding on the rims, but apart from this the pair is in quite good condition. The enamels are in very good condition.
