carved on the interior with three rows of radiating fluted petals resembling a chrysanthemum flower, diminishing in size toward a fourth row of petals curling around the centre, the underside similarly carved with the second row of petals curled at their tips forming a footrim, centred with dense stamens indicated by cross-hatching, within a five pointed star finely incised with foliate terminals, the thin translucent stone of pale bluish-green colour

There is a pale 2.5 cm. pale russet streak near the rim, another two lines of inclusions in a more transparent area across a section of petals, but apart from this the dish is in quite good condition.
