Description

naturalistically carved as two hollow stems of bamboo with attendant leafy stalks issuing from the nodes, on the reverse a budding shoot growing from the base and a sprig of linghzi sprouting in the front, the smoothly polished stone of bright spinach-green colour with some paler yellowish-green undertones and black inclusions, the recessed base of the larger stem incised with a four-character seal mark, carved wood stand

Condition

The vase is overall in very good condition with only a tiny nick and light nibblings to the rim of the larger stem. There is some pitting on the natural russet veining at the bottom on the reverse.
