the white translucent stone carved in the form of a recumbent horse, with its head turned sharply toward its hindquarter slightly leaning to one side and legs tucked beneath, detailed with finely incised hairs, expressive eyes and flared nostrils, its bushy tail wrapped around its left haunch, the smoothly polished stone of even white colour accented with patches of russet skin

There is a tiny nick to the edge of the front left hoof tucked under the body, but overall the carving is in very good condition.
