Condition

Overall the condition of the ring is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is wear to the gilding throughout and there are a few nicks and scratches, particularly to the shank and to the underside of the setting. There is oxidation and a few nicks to the metal around the intaglio. The intaglio itself is in very good condition with minor wear. There are indecipherable marks to the shank.
