Condition
The condition of the limewood is good overall, with wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. The figure has lost both hands together with the attribute in her left hand. There is worming to the wood, particularly to the back. There is splitting to the wood consistent with the material, in particular to the face and to the reverse. There are a few knots in the wood. There are some losses to the base. The proper right arm is loose and there are old restorations at the joints. There is a loss to the hair on the proper left side. The sides of the sculpture are carved separately and joints are visible. There may be some restoration to the joint on the proper right side. There is a hole to the top of the head and two screws to the reverse for the mount. There are a few small chips to the drapery.
