Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is good with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age, including a few minor brown moisture stains to the front. The little finger on the proper left hand is detached and one of the other fingers is reattached. Part of the index finger and the top of the spinning device are reattached and there is a small reattachement to the back of the girl's hair. There are a few chips to the edges of the base, foliage and drapery. There is a loss to the lamb's proper left ear and a few small chips to the right ear. There is a loss to one of the corners of the girl's headdress and one or two further losses to the edges of the headdress. There are one or two minor naturally occuring inclusions.
The column is in three sections and has some minor chips to the edges. The shaft has some naturally occuring veining and hairline fissures.
