Catalogue Note

Angelo Minghetti (1822-1892) worked in Imola before starting his own factory in Bologna. During the late 19th century, his company was widely renowned for making excellent reproductions of Renaissance maiolica objects, some of which were later sold as genuine Renaissance pieces.
