Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age including some minor nicks to the proper right elbow and to the ends of the moustache. There are some minor scratches, including to the sides of the base. There are a number of small casting flaws, in particular to the base. The bronze is cast in sections and there is a very slightly visible casting joint to the base of the tail.
