Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good. There is dirt and some minor wear to the surface consistent with age . There is some dryness to the patina, particularly in to the area running from the mouth of the horse to behind its proper right front leg and the heels of the rider. There are some small spots of white pigment at the base of the tail. There are areas of greening to the side and underside of the base and to the proper left side of the horse under the saddle cloth. Joints are slightly visible around the hooves on the base. The sword is loose.
