Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze and the marble is good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is some faint veining and staining to the surface consistent with material. There are a few minor nicks, including a chip to the shoulder. There is a circular hole to the top of the relief. There is some rubbing to the gilding on the frame and some tarnishing, minor greening and remnants of a polish in its crevices. There is an iron ring for mounting to the top of the frame. A copper plate covers the reverse.
