Condition

Overall the condition of the cross is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age with some particular dirt to the edges of the gems. The gold is slightly warped and worn at the edges consistent with age and handling. The upper gem in the lower arm is concave on the reverse and worn. Its mount was reinforced by an extra section of metal.
