Overall the condition is good with dirt and wear to the ivories consistent with age and handling. There are small losses to each of the ivories. Some of the ivory pieces are in a partial state, including the two on the right of the mount and the far bottom ivory. There is splitting to the ivories consistent with material. The ivory on the far bottom left is now in two sections due to splitting (professional restoration would be beneficial to this ivory); there is a larger loss to the back of the ivories. There is rubbing to the surfaces consistent with handling. There is wear to the mount consistent with age.
