Condition

The canvas has not been lined. Ultraviolet light reveals areas of retouching in the figure's right leg and some scattered spots, notably in her left upper arm and minor spots in the boat's hull in the lower-right corner. There is a small (<1cm squared) spot of paint flaking in the drapery just below the figure which is not visually distracting. The overall appearance of the painting is good and the surface clean. Held in a simple white and gold painted frame.
