Condition
The canvas has been relined. Ultraviolet light reveals scattered signs of retouching, notably intermittent spots along the framing edges and corners, a circa 1.5 by 1.5cm spot of restoration in the lower left quadrant, a thin intermittent vertical line through the centre and a thin diagonal line in the lower right of the composition. The overall apperance of the painting is good, and it is ready to hang.
Held in a decorative black-painted and gilt frame.
