Catalogue Note

Published on 21 January 1937 within the Daily Sketch, with the caption including "Here you see how he [Father Christmas] kept his promise, bringing with him a Christmas tree. Arthur and Zephir, Pom, Flora and Alexander, had never seen anything as beautiful as the tree glowing with lights". When published as a coloured illustration in 1940 the illustration featured as a double-spread image on page 38-39.
